Date of Visit: 27.9.18 Round 1: It was an online round conducted on AMCAT. There were 5 sections ( 128 minutes). Section 1 (English): This section had 20 questions (MCQ) to be done in 15 minutes. It consists of Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Rearrangement, and Comprehension based questions. Section 2 (Logical Reasoning): It has 14 questions to be answered in 14 minutes. It includes Blood Relations, Directions, Decoding and Data Sufficiency. Section 3 (Quantitative Ability): It has 16 questions to be answered in 16 minutes. It consists of probability, Speed and time, percentage etc., Section 4 (Coding/Automata) : It includes 2 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. Date of visit: 15.09.2018 Criteria: 6.5 & above  The process consisted of online test followed by a technical interview 1.Online Test They asked to choose either C++ or Java prior itself.Based on the language preference login credentials were shared.I opted for C++. This test consisted of 4 sections. SECTION 1: Quantitative Aptitude SECTION 2: Logical Reasoning SECTION 3: Technical Aptitude SECTION 4: 2 Programming Questions One program was a pattern generating problem. Date: 2.9.18 Duration: 90 minutes Test was conducted at their premise where students from different colleges participated in that test. Some of the sections had negative marks. Section 1: (Verbal) - 10 mins     Given a paragraph with 10 blanks and the question is to fill the blanks with the appropriate words listed in the dropdown. Section 2: (Quantitative aptitude) - 40 mins 15 questions with normal difficulty and 5 advanced level questions( carried more weightage) Section 3: ( Technical aptitude ) - 20 mins   Questions related to C and data structures were asked. 10 questions with normal difficulty and 3 advanced level questions (more weightage) Section 4: (Coding) - 20 mins 1. Date of visit: 29.08.19 Criteria: 8.4 and above Duration: 1 hr 45 minutes Section A It consisted of 30 questions :      DBMS(transactions, deadlock, 5 queries, 2 quantative aptitude), Complexity of the code snippet , Output questions -> majority questions based on c and there were also c++, java code snippets, Hash function based questions. Platform: Hackerrank     The challenge comprised of three questions which were based on arrays and strings .. It may seem easy but the problems were little tricky to solve.. If one is strong enuf in those concepts, then solving them becomes piece of cake😋. Date of visit : 29/08/2018 Criteria        :  7.5 above First Round Duration : 40 minutes. The first round was a online test that had 50 multiple choice questions. The questions were very standard and covered everything like java, C, C++, Python, CSS, DBMS, OOPs, Networks, OS etc. After the first round 20 people were shortlisted for the second round. Second round Duration : 45 minutes  The second round was a coding round where we were given only one question. The objective of the round was not only to check whether the logic and code was correct but whether the students have used paradigms of the programming language they chose. for example, if we choose java to write our code we must have used OOPs principles. Third Round The third round was technical + HR. The Duration was around 35 Minutes. 1. The Interview started with the question " Introduce yourself in a single Line". 2. Then they asked about chrome cast and w hat is smart tv and  How internet is connected with smart tv and what is the difference between normal TV and a Smart one. 3.  In DBMS, I was asked when a query is called what happens internally , how do the query gets executed. 4. I was asked about the complexities I faced during my projects and how did I tackle the disagreement between group members in a group project. 5. In java, I was asked about Interfaces, Multiple inheritance with real time example and key aspects of  Singleton class. 6. I was asked about the ways to search an element in O(n) and  O(1) time. 7. Date of Visit: 28.08.2018 Criteria:No Current Arrear First Round  Duration:75 Minutes This round had technical mcq from C++ program's output,OS,Data Structure,JAVA in a very basic level.So basics of mentioned area should be good to crack this round and aptitude mcq and verbal mcq and two dbms query based questions and one file handling program were there. Second Round  Duration: 30 Minutes This is a Group Discussion round lasted under the topics of Aadhar is boon or bane and Banning of Mobile Use in School is boon or bane.Each topic had been discussed for 15 minutes.To crack this round be attentive, take a notes of others point ,do accept or oppose other's opinion and also give your add on values with it,try to keep a group as engage as possible by you .Subjective Testing (the way we explain,the way listening others,the way we approach a topic ) is done here by interviewer individually. SAP Labs Technical Round Experience 1. The round started with a brief introduction about myself. 2. In data structures I was asked to write code for height of a tree and Given a binary tree delete  a level and replace the parent node by child nodes, I was asked only the logic for the second question and I answered based on inorder order traversal. 3. I was asked to write code for level order traversal. 4. I did a project based on stock market prediction using random forest algorithm. Essay Writing Part had two questions,out of these 2 questions we have to write an essay on any one of the topic within 15 minutes. Question: What do you know about Thorogood and what will you do in your first year of Thorogood? Aptitude Part covered Data Interpretation,Logical Reasoning,Profit-Loss problem and other basics aptitude topics which are in R.S Agarwal Book ( link ) or else in IndiaBix ( link ) and this part lasted for next 45 minutes. Second Round Duration: 30 Minutes In this round,our communication,presentation skills and confidence level were tested. They asked us to explain any one of the projects that we mentioned in our resume. They checked whether we can present the project that we did in a professional way.
